SOT, Martin Ramirez Falcon, producer of ozone generators (Spanish): "The tunnel works, practically the raw material is air. We take oxygen from the environment and convert it into ozone, which is three oxygens. These three oxygens have disinfecting power three thousand times more powerful than chlorine."

SOT, Martin Ramirez Falcon, producer of ozone generators (Spanish): "What is most important is that we bring almost all viruses on our footwear, so the tunnel is designed so that ozone is sprayed in the bottom. It is disinfecting and achieving the goal of sanitisation."

One of Mexico's largest food markets in the city of Guadalajara installed a sanitation tunnel which, as producers claim, helps to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Footage filmed on Tuesday shows people entering and exiting the market while being disinfected with ozone.
"We take oxygen from the environment and convert it into ozone," said Martin Ramirez Falcon, producer of ozone generators, "which has power 3,000 times more powerful than chlorine."
He continued: "We bring almost all viruses on our footwear, so the tunnel is designed so that ozone is sprayed in the bottom. It is disinfecting and achieving the goal of sanitisation."
Despite the growing number of COVID-19 infections, most of the shoppers were seen without face protection and not keeping the required social distance.
