Thousands of people gathered in Beirut on Sunday, as part of anti-government protests with citizens demanding the resignation of the political leadership over corruption and the bad state of economy.
Lebanese from all social and religious backgrounds were seen converging in the streets and holding Lebanon flags, while music was played from loudspeakers.
The protests were triggered by Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri's announcement of fresh austerity measures, including new taxes, on Thursday.
Hariri gave his coalition partners a 72-hours deadline to agree on solutions for the ongoing economic crisis, suggesting he might quit his post if reforms are not passed.
