Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Taipei on Sunday, to voice their support for Hong Kong demonstrators against China's extradition bill.
The demonstrators condemned the police violence in Hong Kong and even sang Cantonese songs in solidarity with Hong Kong protesters, who have been taking to the streets since China's extradition bill was proposed in February.
"Taiwanese people will not allow the Chinese government to continue this kind of violations to Hong Kong's human rights and democracy" said Lin Fei Fan, the former leader of the Sunflower Occupation in Taiwan.
