Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the Mariyinsky Palace in Kiev on Monday for talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
The two leaders are expected to discuss trade and other pressing issues and later sign a number of bilateral documents.
After the ceremony, Zelenskiy and Netanyahu are due to take part in events commemorating the tragedy of Babi Yar during World War II, where some 33,000 Jews were killed by the Nazis.
Netanyahu is the first Israeli prime minister to visit Ukraine in 20 years.
