Russia: Shoigu and Lavrov hold '2+2' talks with Egyptian defence and foreign ministers

Russian Defence Ministry is ready to continue providing comprehensive aid to Egyptian partners in order to strengthen security and defence capability of the country as well as to support the stability and security in the Middle East and Northern Africa.”

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held talks with their Egyptian counterparts Sameh Shoukry and Mohamed Ahmed Zaki in the '2+2' format in Moscow on Monday.
Shoigu stated that Moscow calls for “the settlement of conflicts based on dialogue” in the Middle East and offered "comprehensive aid to Egyptian partners in order to strengthen security and defence capability of the country."
