Estonia: Torch-wielding anti-refugee protesters gather on Latvian border

Hundreds of anti-refugee protesters took to the streets of the neighbouring cities of Valga in Estonia, and Valka in Latvia, Friday, to protest against the EU accepting Muslim refugees from the Middle East and Africa. Around 300 demonstrators with burning torches in their hands gathered at the border between both countries carrying anti-Islam and anti-refugee banners. The organisers, including the Estonian far-right parties National Front and Popular Unity Party, claimed the goal of the protest was to demonstrate the mass opposition to migration in the Baltic states
