Bahrain King to Attend Horse Show Instead of US-Gulf Summit

Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa attends the opening meeting of the Arab Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, in the South Sinai governorate, south of Cairo. Bahrain's royal court said Wednesday that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will leave for the United Kingdom on Thursday to attend "the joint yearly celebration at Windsor." During the visit, the royal court said the king will meet Queen Elizabeth II to "review the longstanding mutual ties between both royal families" and to discuss bilateral relations.
