This Guy Just Climbed Wembley Stadium's Massive Arch

Free runner, free climber, parkour enthusiast, and urban adventurer James Kingston has become the first person to scale the iconic arch of London’s Wembley Stadium, which reaches 130 metres (400 feet) above the ground. The 24-year-old YouTuber is from Southampton and has gained something of a reputation for climbing to giddy heights — often without permission — and taking selfies up dizzyingly tall structures around the world. He did, however, obtain permission to climb up England’s national football stadium. The BBC reported that for this particular stunt — to promote a camera — he used a safety wire after 30 people negotiated for three months to get him access. Kingston said he’d “dreamt of being on top of the Arch from the day I first laid eyes on it eight years ago when the new stadium opened”.
