Germany: Tractors hit the streets of Berlin against 'farmer-bashing'

A convoy of tractors that drove from Brandenburg took to the streets of Berlin on Tuesday, to protest against the Federal government's agricultural policies and "farmer-bashing".
"We want to stop the 'farmer-bashing'. They tell us a lot that we don't look after our animals enough. The politics are too heavy for our farmers," said Maria, one of the farmers.
"We love our land, love our animals and we do the best we can. And we hope, we would like that all the other people think differently and equally think of the farmers," she added.
Footage shows tractors driving around Berlin's Victory column while honking their horns.
Signs reading "Agricultural package, we want to have a say!" and "Dear 'green know-it-alls', save your holiday trip. Buy a piece of land and show us what you could do better. Your farmers," were also seen.
Several other farmers' protests took place on the same day throughout Germany.
