M/S Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp enters press conference, Napoli
SOT, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool FC manager: "We have to accept the result and we do that. We are really critical with ourselves but it was not a really, really bad performance; it was a game which you can win at Napoli, but we didn't because we didn't score and that doesn't work then really. You want to then have at least a point and we didn't get that because of the penalty. I am pretty sure there are different views on that situation, but when the player jumps before there is contact then it cannot be a penalty. We cannot change that anymore and that's how it is, so now we carry on. That's it."
SOT, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool FC manager: "Look, I said last week after the Newcastle game if it would have been decisive then I could have discussed it. Now it was decisive, and I could say a lot of things about but I would look like a bad loser and I am not. Maybe I am not the best loser in the world, but I am not bad. It is a decision made by human beings. I think when you see the pictures it is clear. What can I say about it? It was very decisive in that moment for sure, but we cannot change it anymore."
SOT, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool FC manager: "Does anybody think in the room (here) that it was a penalty after seeing the VAR pictures?"
Translator (Italian): "Does anybody think in the room (here) that it was a penalty after seeing the VAR pictures?"
Klopp, Liverpool FC manager: "Come one. Anybody who saw the pictures thought it was a penalty? You think. Look, that's why it wasn't a clear mistake because he (points to reporter) thinks it's a penalty."

W/S Napoli SSC manager Carlo Ancelotti enters press conference
SOT, Carlo Ancelotti, Napoli SSC manager (Italian): "I did not see the penalty after the match, I have no idea of what happened. From the dugout it seemed like a clear one to me. I don't want to discuss about this. If he (Jurgen Klopp) says that we can win the competition, I thank him because those are words coming from somebody who knows football very well. But we have a long way ahead of us. Right now we must focus just on qualifying for the knockout stage, that's our first goal and we started well. Last season we started with a nil-nil, this time we got a win so it is a positive sign."

Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp blamed a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) penalty decision for his side's loss against Napoli SSC in their Group E Champions League opener at the San Paolo Stadium on Tuesday night.
Andy Robertson was adjudged to have fouled Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens converted the resulting penalty in what was a game-changer.
"I think when you see the pictures it is clear. What can I say about it? It was very decisive in that moment for sure," he told journalists at the post-match press conference.
Veteran manager Carlo Ancelotti had a different view and sought to play down talk of being potential contenders from Klopp.
"We have a long way ahead of us. Right now we must focus just on qualifying for the knockout stage, that's our first goal," he said.
Liverpool are the first winners of the competition to lose the opening game of the following campaign since AC Milan in 1994.
