SOT, Daniele Lima Felix, Agatha Felix's aunt (Portuguese): "Her smile, her smile in the picture was the one she always showed to the world. She was a sweet girl, cute and smart and she wanted to conquer the world."

SOT, Daniele Lima Felix, Agatha Felix's aunt (Portuguese): "We have to provide education, health and fun for children and change this policy that is so wrong. The governor said that in the middle of a war innocents die. It makes no sense to say something like that after the death of an 8-year-old. It's so sad, so sad."

Hundreds of people joined the latest protest against police violence in Rio De Janeiro on Monday. Demonstrations were triggered by the death of an 8-year-old from a stray bullet in a police operation
Agatha Felix was returning home from school in Complexo do Alemao favela when she was shot in the back in what police said was a shoot-out with suspected criminals. Residents disputed this account saying officers opened fire on two suspects on motorcycles.
Protesters gathered in front of the State Legislative Assembly blaming Rio De Janeiro governor's 'shoot-to-kill' policy for Agatha's death. Wilson Witzel was elected in October 2018 after promising to deal with drug criminals.
"We have to provide education, health and fun for children and change this policy of safety that is so wrong. The governor said that in the middle of a war innocents die, it makes no sense to say something like that after the death of a 8 year old kid," said Agatha's aunt, Daniele Lima Felix.
