Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah gave a speech at an event in Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon on Tuesday commemorating the 13th anniversary of the end of the 2006 war with Israel.
Addressing the crowd via videolink, Nasrallah blamed "Netanyahu, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and some Gulf countries" for conflict in the Middle East.
He also warned against pursuing war against Iran: "The war on the Islamic Republic means that the whole region will flare up."
The 34-day war fought between Hezbollah and the Israel Defence Force (IDF) in 2006 ended in the Lebanese resistance movement pushing back Israeli ground forces from southern Lebanon and a UN-brokered ceasefire. Some 1,191 Lebanese civilians and a reported 44 Israelis civilians were killed during the fighting.
