Bosnia's Republika Srpska parliament voted to reject the findings of a 2004 report into the Srebrenica massacre in Banja Luka on Tuesday.
The report, which was put together by the entity government and a special commission, acknowledged the massacre of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica in 1995.
At a parliamentary session, Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said "The Russian Federation as a permanent member of the UN Security Council vetoed the unpopular British proposal and prevented the conviction of the Serb people. Interestingly, so-called non-governmental organisations immediately criticised the request for veto."
In 2004, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, ruled that the massacre of 8,000 Muslim men and boys in Srebrenica constituted genocide, a ruling which was later upheld in 2007 by the International Court of Justice.
