SOT, Adel al-Jubeir, Saudia Arabian Foreign Minister (Arabic): "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is investigating and the preliminary findings confirm that these weapons are Iranian weapons. We have requested from the United Nations to send experts to contribute to this investigation as well as other countries who will participate in the investigation. The objective of the investigation is to determine the source of the shot and we are sure that the weapons were not shot from Yemen but rather from the north and the investigations will prove that, god's willing. We will share the results with the world and we will follow the necessary procedures with this regard."

The weapons used to attack Saudi Arabian oil facilities on September 14 were Iranian, said Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir during a statement on investigations into the attacks he made from Riyadh on Saturday.

The drone attacks took place on September 14 at an oil processing facility in Abqaiq and the Khurais oil field, effectively cutting production by 5.7 million barrels per day or 5 percent of global output. Houthi militants operating in Yemen claimed responsibility for the attacks. The US and Saudi authorities have however both accused Iran of being responsible, although Tehran has repeatedly denied this.
