The Confederate Flag is Right Inside Mississippi's State Flag

As South Carolina considers removing the Confederate flag from its state capitol, many Americans are turning their attention to an even more prominent Confederacy display: Mississippi's state flag.
Mississippi's flag, which it adopted in 1894, depicts the Confederate flag in the top left corner. Now, local politicians may pre-file a bill that would rid the flag of its Confederate symbol, though that step is just meant to see how many others support the idea.
