Riot police fired tear gas on protesters holding anti-government demonstrations in Hong Kong on Sunday.
Footage shows confrontations between officers and activists. Many protesters can be seen using mirrors and lasers to shine light at police officers.
"The police are using extreme force to beat citizens, this is not reasonable, and I think that as a Hong Kong citizen, I should stand up for what is right," one protester said.
Later, alleged pro-China demonstrators arrived to hold a counter demonstration, and clashes erupted, with one pro-China demonstrator being beaten to the ground by several people.
Hong Kong has been rocked by demonstrations sparked by a proposed extradition bill since March. Despite the law being withdrawn, demonstrations evolved into a movement with wider grievances.
