SOT, Hussein Hamayel, Spokesperson for Fatah (Arabic): "This situation was brought to us by the American administration, which is considered to be an agent of the Israeli occupation state. Now the Palestinian people should unite around their leadership and give, through sharing the real achievement of the Palestinian leadership to the world, the need to drop this deal, and it will fall God willing."

SOT, Essam Baker, Secretary of Palestinian Islamic and National Forces in Ramallah (Arabic): "The Palestinian people are united in all places to reject the deal of the century and are more committed to their inalienable rights. Resistance is the choice of our Palestinian people to end the occupation and all options are open. The Palestinian people will not delegate to the Trump administration the negotiation of their rights. The people will not accept the exchange of these rights on the pretext of alleged economic peace. The Palestinian issue is an issue of refugee rights and self-determination."

SOT, Kaddoura Fares, President of the Palestinian Prisoners Association (Arabic): "It is the expression of a collective stance and represents all the people of Palestine inside and outside the country, who today express their absolute and categorical rejection of this disastrous deal of the century. Consequently, it is an indication of the image of the national struggle in the coming stage to face all the obstacles that the Palestinian people face in a way towards freedom and independence."

Demonstrators took to the streets of Ramallah on Tuesday to protest the 'peace plan' announced by US President Donald Trump.
Footage shows protesters chanting slogans and burning pictures of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"It is the expression of a collective stance and represents all the people of Palestine inside and outside the country, who today express their absolute and categorical rejection of this disastrous deal of the century," said Kaddoura Fares, the president of the Palestinian Prisoners Association.
Trump detailed his plans for his 'deal of the century', a set of proposals to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, in a joint statement with Netanyahu in Washington DC on Tuesday.
Under the plan put forth, "Jerusalem will remain Israel's undivided capital".
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has rejected the plan with "a thousand no's," as being one-sided in favour of Israel.
