A Quad Phantom drone equipped with a GoPro camera soared over Paris Air Show in Le Bourget on Monday. Earlier in the day, the world's oldest air show opened its doors to trade visitors, kick-starting the show with a performance by the French air force's aerial display team. More than 200 orders were made on the first day alone, with Indonesia's national airline Garuda making one of the most expensive orders, purchasing 60 Boeing and 30 Airbus aircraft for €18 billion ($20 bilion USD). There will be 2,215 exhibitors at this year's event, which is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors. Paris Air Show will run until June 21, and be accessible to the public from Friday.
