Yemen: 30 tonnes of humanitarian aid reaches Sanaa

More than 30 tonnes of humanitarian aid from the UN UNICEF agency and the International Committee of the Red Cross arrived in Sanaa, Friday, as Saudi-led airstrikes against the Arab world's poorest country reached their third week. A Red Cross plane delivered 18 tonnes of medical supplies, while another aircraft organised by UN agency UNICEF brought in 17 tonnes of medical supplies each as well as nutrients for malnourished children and water supplies. According to the World Health Organisation, the conflict has killed at least 643 people with tens of thousands displaced since Saudi-led airstrikes began on 26 March.
