More Than 2,000 Piglets On The Loose In Ohio After Truck Crashes

A semitrailer carrying 2,200 piglets overturned Monday on a freeway in Ohio, forcing road closures as officials attempted to corral the animals. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. local time Monday on U.S. Route 35 near Xenia, Ohio. Police said the driver of the truck lost control and veered into a guardrail. Xenia Fire chief estimated that about 200 of the young pigs did not survivie the crash.
