Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that Greece has to face "a big crisis within the crisis," in reference to the country's struggle with the large numbers of refugees entering the country and its ongoing economic strife, during an address to the Greek parliament in Athens on Monday. Tsipras took aim at the strict border controls being brought in by European countries, most notably Hungary, saying "faced with the logic that seeks to turn European borders into war zones, we consistently believe that we need to work hard in order to prove that humanity, solidarity, hospitality are not utopias in the minds of some romantics." The prime minister was recently re-elected with a majority of 155 representatives in the new eight-party assembly. Tsipras now faces the considerable task of kick-starting Greece's economy whilst dealing with the 124,000 migrants and refugees that have entered the country in 2015 alone.
