According to new results from a recent poll ran by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal, it's time for the United States and Iran to sit down and solve the lingering tension caused by nuclear development.
A demonstration half the world away in Tehran on Tuesday, suggests the Iranian populace is ready and willing as well.
By a margin of 2-to-1, more Americans support the two nations structuring a deal rather than opposing one.
However, these stats are not stellar, though they do indicate that the American public is becoming more conscious of these current events.
In total 36 percent of the respondents supported the deal while 17 percent opposed it.
The plurality of respondents, totaling 46 percent, had not formed an opinion on the matter.
Conducted between June 14 and 18, the margin of error for the poll is 4.4 percentage points.
