Imad-al-Sharif, the father of three children born without legs, spoke on the challenges of life during an interview in Gaza, Sunday.
"We need to apply a lot of efforts to take them to their school, as well as get them back. Thanks to God that the situation has become acclimatised now," said Imad.
Three of his children, seven-year old girl Sojood, his five-year old son Mohammed and the smallest child Anas, who is only 11 months old, are all legless. Despite their physical disabilities, Imad has built toys and apparatus, which the kids can use to play on.
Despite the hardships, Imad has succeeded to enroll his children at a UNRWA [United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East] school where they are "acclimated," said Imad.
