SOT, Fernando Lopez Miras, President of Murcia (Spanish): "We are sad for this situation, an accident that has taken place in the Mar Menor in which, as the Ministry of Defence said, the instructor and the student who were in that flight died."

A Spanish Air Force light aircraft crashed into the sea of the Murcian coast on Wednesday, killing both its pilot and his student.
Commander Daniel Melero and student Ensign Rosa Maria Almiron were killed when the ENAER T-35 crashed into the Mediterranean sea near Santiago de la Ribera.
Police boats can be seen in the bay trying to recover the plane, using an inflatable raft to keep its tail above water.
President of the Murcia region and the local mayor both gave statements to the press following the incident.
