SCRIPT
NASA’s Christina Koch and Jessica Meir became first all-female group of astronauts to conduct a spacewalk mission on Friday.
Footage shows Koch and Meir working outside the International Space Station (ISS) to replace a failed power control unit, which gathers and distributes solar power to the station.
US President Donald Trump called the ISS during the mission to congratulate the first all-female spacewalkers.
The first woman to conduct a spacewalk was Soviet cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya in 1984.
