Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz held a rally in Scotia, New York on Thursday, where he denounced Republican front-runner Donald Trump ahead of the upcoming NY primary.
Addressing crowds at a Christian Academy gymnasium, Cruz said: "Our friends in the media tell us that Donald Trump is unstoppable in New York State. Oddly enough, our friends the media are very comfortable with a New York liberal who has supported Andrew Cuomo, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer for decades."
Current polling shows Trump in the lead with over 50 percent in New York state, followed by John Kasich at 25 percent and Cruz at 17 percent. Fourteen of New York's delegates will be allocated based on the state-wide result, and 81 delegates will be determined by winners in congressional districts.
