Russia: Abu-Dhabi crown prince meets Putin at MAKS-2015

Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu-Dhabi, Mohammed Al Nahyan, at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2015, at the Zhukovsky Airfield in the Moscow Oblast on Tuesday. The two are expected to discuss the political situation in the Middle East since Al Nahyan is also the Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces. Investment prospects primarily in the energy sector are also likely to be high on the agenda as is the price of oil which hit its lowest level in six years on Monday. President Putin is expected to host a number of leaders from the Arab world this week with a meeting set for later in the day with King Abdullah II of Jordan. MAKS-2015 is held just outside Moscow every two years and has grown in size and prominence over the years with over 400,000 visitors expected at the current edition. Delegations from more than 80 foreign countries and almost 600 Russian companies are set to take part.
