Suggestions of making a "stretched version" of world's largest passenger airliner, the Airbus A380, were made as it displayed over the airport of Le Bourget at the the Paris Air Show, Tuesday. Asked about the future of the airplane, Airbus' sales chief John Leahy in Le Bourget said that his company is considering making a slightly stretched version with around 50 more seats. At this moment, the maximum amount of seats in the A380 is 853. Paris Air Show showcases the latest in aircraft manufacturing, aerospace technology, civil aviation equipment, along with weapons and military equipment for air defense units. The oldest airshow in the world, it has been held annually since 1909. The event will run until June 21 and showcase 2,215 exhibitors from more than 46 countries.
