NBC News Decides to Move On Following Brian Williams Suspension

NBC News has moved on from the disgraced "Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams, following a lengthy suspension.
NBC suspended the veteran newsman for misrepresenting events he experienced while covering the Iraq War.
The network has chosen to keep Lester Holt in favor of Williams.
Holt has been fulfilling the anchor role since February.
William's fall from grace started after his claims of taking enemy fire while riding in a helicopter proved to be false.
An internal investigation by NBC discovered a number of inaccuracies in William's description of the incident.
There is no indication that NBC plans to release results of its investigation into Williams' conduct.
Steve Burke, CEO of NBC Universal said that "this matter has been extensively analyzed and deliberated on by NBC. We are moving forward."
