SCRIPT
As many as 1,600 Filipino mothers simultaneously fed their children at a mass breastfeeding event in Manila, on Sunday.
Women wore colourful outfits and flower crowns, danced and enjoyed music while breastfeeding their babies in the annual Hakab Na, literally the 'Big Latch on', event.
Now in its seventh year, the Hakab Na! is aimed at raising awareness around the health benefits of breastfeeding, while bringing together women and their children.
The rally, which both celebrates World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month in August, was hosted by Breastfeeding Pinays, an online forum of over 270,000 breastfeeding families.
