A new report suggests, Google is gearing up to launch a photo-sharing service independent of Google+.
According to Bloomberg, the company is building a photo tool that will not only retain the functionality of Google+ Photos, but also allow users to directly post pictures to other social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
The news comes just one week before Google's annual I/O developers' conference in San Francisco, where the company would have a major stage to officially launch its service.
For example, the company recently added a direct link to photos in Google Drive, allowing users to see and manage them separately from Google+.
