Democratic hopeful Bernie Sanders held a rally at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Tuesday, in front of a crowd composed mostly by students.
Sanders detailed his agenda for tackling poverty in the US, saying: "If you work forty hours a week you should not live in poverty. We're going to raise the Federal minimum wage 15 box an hour."
Speaking about healthcare, he said he would fight for a "more human healthcare system," capable of providing quality care for all instead of serving the interests of insurance and drug companies.
The next primaries are set to take place in Nevada on February 22. The Democratic Presidential nominee will be announced at the Democratic National Convention in July.
