USA: These Trump-embellished cockroaches will make your skin crawl!

09.08.2016
Mexican artist Cristiam Ramos worked on oil paintings of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at his studio in Orlando, Florida, Monday. However these aren't any normal oil paintings, but tiny thumb-sized portraits, intricately painted onto the back of... cockroaches. It's enough to make your skin crawl.
Trump's face, which is part of a collection, is being featured alongside other historical figures, Kim-Jong-un, Saddam Hussein, and Adolf Hitler.
Ramos has made headlines with his art in the past by using non-conventional canvasses, such as butterfly wings and tarantulas, as well as painting materials like candy and toothpaste.
Originally from Mexico City, Ramos has been living in the U.S. for the past ten years. He says he doesn't care about politics, but as an artist he feels compelled to make social statements with his work.
The cockroach portraits are for sale, but only as a set, which costs approximately €2,704 ($3,000). Each portrait takes about four hours to complete.
