Some 95 Somali citizens touched down at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on Monday, after being evacuated from war-torn Yemen. First Lady Mama Sahra Omar, the Interior Minister Abdirashi Mohamed Hidig, Chief of IOM Mission Gerard Waite, and Senior Protection Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Edward O'Dwyer, were among those who welcomed back the Somali nationals. Conflicting parties in Yemen agreed on a five-day ceasefire, which was used for the evacuation. The truce expired on Sunday night, shortly after the Somalia's citizens had been safely evacuated from the war-struck country. Around 1200 people from 40 different countries has been evacuated out of Yemen with help of International Organization for Migration.
