SCRIPT
Students marched in the streets of the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Tuesday to commemorate and honour those killed during the crackdown of a months-long protest movement which has thrown the country into turmoil following the ousting of former President Omar al-Bashir in April 2019.
Demonstrators waved the Sudanese flag and could be heard chanting: ''This country is our country and our rule is a civilian rule''.
The protest follows the signing of a power sharing deal between Sudan's military leaders and representatives of the opposition on July 17, which critics say fails to provide justice for victims of state violence and their families.
