WADA President Craig Reedie said he is confident that the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) will provide access to the data from the Moscow laboratory, speaking after the organisation's Foundation Board meeting in Baku on Thursday.
"I find it almost inconceivable to believe that we do not complete this project at time," he emphasized adding that he has a "written guaranty" from the Russian authorities.
Noting that RUSADA has been "much improved" over the last years, Reedie said that a good anti-doping system in Russia is a key to "the best thing for clean athletes around the world."
The WADA Executive Commission reinstated RUSADA on September 20 after an almost three-year suspension.
The decision requires that RUSADA provide WADA access to the data on the Moscow laboratory by December 31, 2018. If the condition is not fulfilled, the agency will be suspended again.
