MSC Zoe, one of the four biggest cargo ships in the world by capacity containers - measured in twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEU) - docked in Hamburg's harbour, waiting to be baptised, Sunday. The ship, owned by Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC), has been called "Zoe" after the name of the granddaughter of the founder and CEO of MSC group. Most of the ships the company own are named with people's proper names. MSC Zoe has the capacity to carry 19,224 TEU in each single journey, with a volume of 19,300 GT. Its overall length is 395.4 metres (1,297 feet) and its beam is 59 metres (194 feet). Another two cargo ships of the same company, MSC Oliver and MSC Maya, have exactly the dimensions as MSC Zoe.
