Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders rallied with thousands of his supporters at the University of California campus in Davis, on Wednesday.
During his speech, Sanders slammed the issue of income inequality in the United States, saying, “A rigged economy is when CEOs making 40 million, 50 million a year, work overtime to cut the wages and healthcare and pensions of their workers."
The Vermont Senator spoke of his vision for the USA as, "a vibrant democracy with real debate, where ordinary people play an active role in shaping the future of this country."
The California Democratic primary is due to take place on June 7, with 475 delegates at stake. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton currently leads the race for the party’s nomination, with 2,312 delegates, while Sanders lags behind with 1,545.
