United Nations: Ban Ki-moon urges UN member states for unity in handling refugee crisis

Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon called UN member states for unity in addressing the refugee crisis issue while speaking at the leaders' summit on the refugee crisis, held on the sidelines of the 71st United Nations General Assembly in New York City, Tuesday.
Ki-moon said "not a single country, however powerful and resourceful it may be, cannot handle this one. United Nations cannot handle this one all alone. We need all solidarity and we need unity in addressing this issue."
The leaders' summit on the refugee crisis is being held on the sidelines of the 71st annual UN General Assembly in the UN's New York City headquarters. The UNGA is being held between Tuesday 20 and Monday 26 September. During the General Assembly, attended by all 193 UN member states, decisions will be taken on issues including peace and security, humanitarian issues, and the organisation's budget for the following session.
