They might not feel like what they are doing to Hong Kong is relevant to them. But today they can do something to Hong Kong, tomorrow they are doing something to NBA."

Activists supporting anti-government protesters in Hong Kong distributed pro-Hong Kong T-shirts to basketball fans in Toronto on Tuesday, ahead of Toronto Raptors clash with the New Orleans Pelicans.
The T-shirts reading: 'The North stand with Hong Kong' were given away for free, which, according to one of the activists JL, symbolised that both NBA and Hong Kong were "victims of China dictatorship."
The choice of the sporting event to distribute the T-shirts was not accidental, as earlier general manager of US basketball team Houston Rockets Daryl Morey reportedly published a tweet supporting Hong Kong. He later deleted the tweet after it sparked controversy in the basketball industry, with media reports saying that China reportedly demanded NBA to fire Morey.
