SOT, Sirajul Haq, Jamaat-e-Islami party leader (Urdu): "The very same (President) Trump who once said that Pakistan is a cheater. Now what has happened all of sudden is that he has told [Prime Minister] Imran Khan that he is ready to mediate [on the Kashmir region]".

SOT, Sirajul Haq, Jamaat-e-Islami party leader (Urdu): "Mr. Prime Minister Imran Khan, this is not the first time America has cheated us. America had cheated us in 1965 [after the war with India]. America has cheated us in 1971 [When Pakistan and Bangladesh were divided]. America is a partner of India anyway".

Leader of Pakistan's opposition Jamaat-e-Islami party Sirajul Haq called on the government to apply bolder policies in relation to the Kashmir issue at a rally in Peshawar on Sunday.
"China continued its struggle [over Taiwan] for 100 years but was not tired. We will also fight for the liberation of Kashmir for 1,000 years. We will sacrifice our lives and will not step back, God willing," said Haq.
He also warned Prime Minister Imran Khan against accepting US president Donald Trump's offer to mediate with India over Kashmir.
Demonstrations continue across Pakistan after India stripped the disputed territory of its special status.
