Wildfire Destroys at Least 24 Homes in Central Washington

Authorities said Monday that a fire in central Washington has burned 4,000 acres and destroyed at least 24 homes. Authorities added that the Sleepy Hollow Fire began Sunday afternoon near Wenatchee, with flames spreading quickly due to winds and temperatures of more than 100 degrees.
