SpaceX plans to try again to land its Dragon rocket on a drone ship this afternoon, after its last attempt in January ended in a catastrophic explosion. According to SpaceX, the launch is scheduled for 4:33 p.m. Eastern Time, with the landing attempt on a drone ship named "Just Read the Instructions" occurring about nine minutes after launch. The rocket launch will resupply the International Space Station via SpaceX's Dragon cargo capsule, which will blast off from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station before bringing the first stage of its Falcon 9 rocket back for a landing.
Space X says, since SpaceX's last landing attempt, the drone ship has been upgraded to tolerate more powerful ocean swells, and the rocket design has been tweaked a bit as well.
