The President of the National Front, Marine Le Pen, spoke after her meeting with French President Francois Hollande at the Elysee Palace in Paris, Sunday, following the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday. Le Pen demanded border controls "to be permanent," so France could "regain the control of its borders". She went on to express her concerns of "a threat of terrorist infiltration," mentioning "an investigation" which indicates that "a number of terrorists would be dragged in between the migrants." She therefore claimed that in the wake of the refugee crisis, the threat to France has increased, paying particular attention to the estimates of three million migrants and refugees entering Europe by 2017. She also noted that French President does not agree with her in the necessity to "identify who are our allies and who are our enemies" and to "implement a big coalition that would bring together all those fighting against Islamic fundamentalism." At least 129 people were killed and more than 352 left injured, 99 critically, after a series of coordinated attacks were carried out at six different locations across Paris on Friday evening. At least 87 of those victims were killed after gunmen opened fire during a concert at the Bataclan theatre, taking dozens hostage before detonating suicide bombs. Police stormed the venue, freeing the hostages and killing one of the attackers. Dozens of other people were killed in attacks at the French national stadium and a string of popular bars and restaurants.
