Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv on Thursday morning to participate in Holocaust memorial events.
Putin expects to meet with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold talks about bilateral cooperation and international issues including Near East situation.
In addition, the Russian leader will give a speech on the fifth World Holocaust Forum, which marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Later Russian President is expected to visit Bethlehem to negotiate with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
