Authorities have allowed eight migrants and one crew member from the Proactiva Open Arms rescue ship to set foot on the Italian island of Lampedusa on Monday night.
Footage shows a coast guard patrol boat bringing the migrants and crew to the port, where they disembark wearing thermal blankets and are led to a nearby ambulance.
Earlier on Monday, several migrants jumped off the ship in an attempt to swim to Lampedusa.
The rescue vessel run by Proactiva Open Arms has been anchored off Lampedusa, an island between Sicily and Northern Africa, since August 1.
The Italian government, led chiefly by Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, has so far refused docking permission for the boat, causing a stand-off.
The boat initially had 147 migrants on board when it reached Italian waters. In the last few days, 48 migrants have been transferred by Italian coast guard vessels to Lampedusa, including those who were considered ill or minors.
