Russia: Holy Fire from Jerusalem lands in Moscow for Easter

The Holy Fire arrived at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport from Jerusalem on Saturday, ahead of Orthodox Easter celebrations going into Sunday. The arrival of the fire is part of the international "Peace for Jerusalem" project. The Holy Fire is being brought to Moscow and dozens of other Russian cities by a delegation of Russia's St. Andrew The First-Called Foundation, headed by Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin. From Moscow's Vnukovo Airport the Holy Fire will be taken to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in time for an overnight service led by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
