Dutch Safety Board chairman Tjibbe Joustra released the projected launch location of the missile that downed the MH17 flight during the final report presentation of the MH17 investigation in Gilze-Rijen on Tuesday. "The crash of flight MH17 on 17 July 2014 was caused by the detonation of a 9N314M-type warhead launched from the eastern part of Ukraine using a Buk missile system" said Joustra, before revealing the three projected locations of the missiles launch by the DSB, Kiev authorities, and Russian analysts. Joustra concluded that the Safety Board's investigation of the crash has now been closed. A separate Dutch-led criminal investigation will publish their report in several months' time.
