Tom Brady Suspended 4 Games, Patriots Fined $1 Million Over Deflategate

Rejoice, oh ye fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys. Tom Brady will not be on the field when the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots play your teams. The NFL suspended Brady for four games at the start of the 2015-16 season on Monday and fined the Patriots $1 million after a recent report said Brady likely knew that the team deflated its footballs below the legal limit in the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts last season. The Patriots will also lose a first round draft pick in the 2016 NFL draft and a fourth-rounder in the 2017 draft.
